A respected Silicon Valley executive, Melody Fallah Khair has designed and marketed leading-edge networking technology. She has built next-generation SaaS and software products from the ground up for uses such as security, video collaboration, data center management, and public and private cloud management. Melody Fallah Khair’s present position with Nokia involves directing cloud and network services (CNS) research and standards.
Ms. Fallah Khair’s focus is on leading autonomous edge network and AI-based decision-making functions, such as autonomous edge brain functions for local decision-making within the edge network. Her team works on advanced 6G and 5G telecom standards to enable future autonomous networks in collaboration with customers. She has multiple issued and pending patents in her field, and recently earned Nokia’s CNS Full Stack Award for a project on the autonomous edge.
Ms. Fallah Khair holds a software engineering BS and a master’s in telecommunications technology management from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. She has held positions such as chief technology officer with music.iLuv, chief architect at Digital Fairway Corporations’ voice-over IP product portfolio and service enabling platform, and was the head of Cloud and Managed Service platform product management team at Cisco.
